1. Introduction

VinXFitness ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal fitness coaching platform operated in Canada (vinxfitnesspro@gmail.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the VinXFitness mobile application and related services (the "App").

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

Full name and email address (during account creation)
Phone number (optional, for coach communication)
Fitness goals, health objectives, and body measurements
Current and goal body weight and body fat percentage
Dietary preferences and daily food intake logs
Workout completion and exercise activity logs
Messages sent through the in-app coaching chat

2.2 Information collected automatically

The App does not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools. Our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, device and browser type, and the time of each request) to keep the service secure and working.

2.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment information. All payments are processed externally (via PayPal or Interac e-transfer) outside the App. We have no access to your banking or payment card details.

3. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and provide access to the App
To deliver personalised workout and nutrition plans assigned by your coach
To track your fitness progress and display it within the App
To enable communication between you and your coach
To send service notifications (plan expiry, updates)
To improve the App's features and user experience
To comply with applicable Canadian laws and regulations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Health and fitness data

The App collects health and fitness-related data including body weight, body fat percentage, measurements, calorie intake, and workout activity. This data is classified as sensitive personal information.

This data is:

Used exclusively to provide your coaching service
Accessible only to you and your assigned coach
Never shared with insurers, employers, or third-party data brokers
Never used for advertising targeting

5. Data storage and security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, and secure per-account authentication. While we take reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Data may be stored on servers in Canada or the United States. Where data is processed in the US, it is subject to US law.

6. Data retention

Active data (meal logs, workout logs, messages) is deleted within 90 days of account deletion
When your coaching ends, your coach may archive your account. An archived account keeps your data so you can return, and is deleted once it has been archived for 12 months
Account information may be retained up to 2 years for legal and accounting purposes
You may request immediate deletion at any time (see Section 8)

7. Sharing of information

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

With your assigned coach, who requires it to deliver the service
With service providers assisting in operating the App (under confidentiality obligations)
When required by law, court order, or government authority
In connection with a business transfer, where you will be notified in advance

8. Your rights (Canada — PIPEDA)

Right to access: request a copy of your personal information
Right to correction: request correction of inaccurate information
Right to deletion: request deletion of your personal data
Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent to processing at any time
Right to complain: file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

9. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the App with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
